Push and Glide

The best way to start every length. This is the fastest you will move and is worth practising.
Sink into the water then push and stretch - it's good for your shoulders, posture, balance and swim speed. If you swim 40 laps practise it 40 times. You will notice the difference in your swimming. It's also fun to do a set of push and glides and then run back. Challenge yourself to see how far you can get. Remember to blow out your air as you go and stop when you run out of air or stop moving.
