The Dab is a video that helps you focus on one arm at a time. Breaking down all the different elements of the freestyle stroke and feeling a connection to the water. Start with arms in a number 11 position. One arm stays still the entire time. With your working arm, relax the elbow so your forearm can point to the bottom of the pool just like in the video. Practise this on land watching your arms. With your fingers pointing to the bottom and a great open space beneath your arm pit hold it there until you need to breathe in.
When you want to breathe in push back as you turn your head to inhale. Feeling your spare arm and head be swooshed forward.

The water will want to move your arm out infront so use your shoulder muscles to keep it in place
