Swim Girls program works on fitness, fun, and a healthy way of life for girls in school years 7-12. It's based on our philosophy that the ability to swim is a gift that stays with you for life, a great stress reliever and fab way to keep fit and strong. Have fun with your mates in a non competitive way.
Sadly the opportunity to keep swimming without competing isn't always available and Swim Girls aims to change that. You may have been in a swim squad before and realised squad training isn't your thing. You may love swimming but also love netball, basketball, art, dance, trapeze, water polo, surf lifesaving...and can only swim once a week as life is busy. Or perhaps you are looking for something fun and different with out the need to perform when you can enjoy the water. The Swim Girls program will focus on stroke technique, building on the individual components of the stoke with a strong element of getting your heart rate up, having a laugh and enjoying being healthy. The class is 55 minutes long and swimmers need to bring their own fins, bathers and goggles.
